“MUMBAI BOL” a fun, open, and free-for-all initiative by Title Waves, Bandra, created and hosted by actor-global adventurer-model Umesh Pherwani and award-winning author Kainaz Jussawalla is far more than your average open mic.

It’s a sincere effort to bring people from all walks of life together, offering a space where they can connect, network, and share their stories. This time, the theme was Travel —a topic that brought out everything from funny anecdotes to adorable tales from all age groups including 7-year-olds, alongside bizarre airport experiences and restroom mishaps.

After all, who doesn’t have a travel story that’s a little wild and worth sharing?

Held on October 11th, the fourth edition (they do it every quarter) was sponsored by ‘IITC,’ the leading aviation academy, and SkyCouriers. This time the evening’s highlight was a performance by the one and only Improv Comedy Mumbai (IMC), who transformed the shared stories into hilarious skits, leaving the audience in stitches.

Bestselling Authors – Anirban Bhattacharyya, Anjali Kirpalani, and Arjun Hemmady spoke about their writing journeys keeping up with the bookstore venue and enhancing the evening with their books on display.

Beautifully designed trophies were awarded to the top three travel storytellers. Adding a special touch to the evening, ‘Break of Dawn’ offered attendees complimentary and yummy cheese tasters and cold coffee from their gourmet setup, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Fr. Stephen, known for his beloved bookstore that provides a haven for readers, was also honored for his contributions to the writers and reading community. The event concluded with a soulful song by popular singer Madhooji, leaving everyone with a sense of joy and a smile on their faces—a perfect end to a memorable evening in Bandra.
