Always having a great passion for cooking and creating dishes which ignites one’s senses encouraged him to join a culinary institute and become a Chef. He has created his magic as he worked with many fine dining restaurants and received appreciation when he won many culinary competitions.

With time at disposal, until he gets back in action on a cruise, Chef Sadiq has put his apron on! To commemorate the launch of his restaurant cum home kitchen, Baadshahi to deliver heavenly Mughlai delicacies just at your tables which can be relished with family and friends at comforts of your home. He started in July 2020, inspired by travel and passion for different cultures, Baadshahi has a gourmet menu filled with culinary delights, utilizing the freshest ingredients. His years of experience helped him curate a menu which offers a wide range of exquisite tikkas, kebabs, earthenware biryanis, rolls, desserts and a lot more.

With a vision of serving delicacies across the globe and keeping in mind “best known” levels of food hygiene and sanitation while preparing food makes it a perfect choice to order avid a pandemic.

The bestseller Galouti Kebab which includes 27 intrinsic ingredients is mouth melting juicy mutton kebab, delicately spiced to relish the intense flavour of this royal dish is the flag bearer of Awadhi cuisine. Another one is the Baadshahi Butter Chicken which is unique as it is green in colour, no-not by using a food colour but is Chef signature dish and a secret recipe which makes it mesmerizing, loaded with butter, cream and nuts.

One dish which is true to his legacy is Mutton Korma, a thick gravy with tender mutton pieces cooked in its juices with an authentic use of Indian spices especially the homely grounded garam masala adds a perfect kick to the dish. Aromatic fragrance and topped with fresh coriander, green chillies and ginger julians is a treat to your senses!

Nalli Nihari is slow-cooked overnight which is a perfect blend of flavour full ingredients. He uses spices like kabab chini, pipli, yellow chilli powder, beetle leaf root, etc. which makes his customers come back for more.

Vegetarian options too are available like Tandoori Paneer Tikka, Paneer Tikka Biryani, Subz-E-Biryan etc. The menu includes dishes which are chef’s recommended and keto-friendly.

Earthenware Biryanis is what he has tweaked to his style, with pots sourced specially from Indore, he offers a variety ranging from chicken, mutton to paneer. Char-grilled meat paired up with aromatic basmati rice topped with birista (fried onions) and nuts should a must-try.

He also serves Shahi Mandi, an Arab speciality accompanied with various meats, flavoured rice and a Salan to accustom to the Indian palette. He plans to expand his menu to include new dishes like Shahi Rogan Josh, Dal Bukhara (urad dal and rajma slow cooked) and Warqi Paratha (21 layers paratha).

Chef Sadiq wants to attract foodies who relish gourmet cuisine with his niche to serving quality food with traditional Mughlai flavours. Baadshahi claims that it does not add MSG to its dishes. They also undertake party and wedding catering.
