10 teams
100 participants
35 dedicated volunteers
And tons of excited onlookers

The morning of October 22 was full of pure excitement as people of all ages explored key locations from Joggers Park to Irish Cafe to Saisa Club with push-ups, chess, karela juice, and spinning tops. All thanks to the creative planning & conceptualization by Ekatvam, a Singles Community Group and Youth Social Services (YSS)!

Some quotes from the captains…

The Bandra treasure hunt organised by the Ekatvam group and the YSS on an early Sunday morning , I must tell was an amazing fun filled event ! People of different age groups participated with great enthusiasm! It was crazy to see how everyone were competing with each other with full sportsmanship! After really long I thoroughly enjoyed myself and it made me remember of the activities which we used to have in my school days! And to top it we even won which was pretty much unexpected!

I guess it was definitely worth compromising my sleep on a holiday! And I’m definitely looking forward to many such activities and winning too.

Mahek Patel (Captain of the winning team)

The Treasure Hunt was an absolute fun event! We, Pirates of Bandra enjoyed every bit of it, truly. The best was going to Irish Cafe and thinking its Irish Cafe, we were hoping something chilled but ended up with Karela juice! Which had to be gulped down as a shot…what a great after taste and a jump start to a Sunday morning.

All in all, so well organized with a task at each stop, it got everyone in the team to participate and show off either their fitness, dance moves or Sudoku or Chess skills or spinning a top (which most of us haven’t done in ages!) Or doing the Hula Hoop!

Got to also say, the clues were so well and tactfully written that we did have to pause for a quick moment and think where in Bandra could this be? A great run around Bandra on a sunny Sunday!

Awesome fun and Kudos to the YSS and Ekatvam team for all their efforts. Looking forward to hunting in 2024…

Adele Fernandes (Captain)

The treasure hunt was simply amazing. It was the first one we’ve ever participated in and it was a wonderful experience. We bonded as a team and used each of our strengths while going through the tasks. One thing we won’t forget is the karela juice shots which was something we weren’t ready for Overall it was well organised and we can’t wait to take part again!
