Four detained following gruesome slitting of the throat of a 20-year-old man in Bandra

Police have arrested four individuals – Salim Pathan, Abdullah Shaikh, Umar Khan and Shohib Shaikh – in relation to the murder of 20-year-old Ibrahim Shaikh, whose body was discovered with a slit throat and multiple stab injuries on his body at General Arun Kumar Vaidya Playground around 4 am on 31st May.

Police have stated that two men (Khan and Shohib) were offered a contract by Pathan and Abdullah for Rs 24,000 to eliminate Ibrahim Shaikh due to accusations related to Pathan’s deceased brother.

Deepak Pawar (Police Inspector), Patil (Asst. Police Inspector), Vaze (Asst. Police Inspector) and Shardul Bansode (Police Constable) from Unit 9 of the Mumbai Crime Branch made a successful arrest around noon on 31st May following an investigation.
