He had a normal life like each and every kid has until he reached the turning point of his life. When he was 7 years old, he fell off his house and in the hospital and went through a wrong treatment that made his hand septic. After 14 days the senior doctor advised him to cut off his right hand or the infection would spread to the entire body. He used to use his right hand for most of his daily tasks and converting from a righty to a lefty wasn’t easy for him, but like a true hero, he still continued to smile as he believes that the smile through tears is the greatest smile one can get on his or her face.
It is true adversity affects one’s life to a great extent but true hero’s rise from the middle of these problems. He went to a night school and today it is due to his perseverance and hard work that he was able to educate his daughter and make her get into one of the best colleges in Mumbai – St. Xaviers.
One thing I learnt from Nobert was to smile in every situation and show the problems that arise in front of you that you are way stronger than them as God created you as he had faith in you to tackle these problems. He advises young entrepreneurs that they should have the courage and willpower to convert their dreams into reality. He is indeed a true hero of Bandra.
