The month of February is celebrated globally in honour of the valiant strive that cancer victims and survivors exude, and therefore Cherish Life India Foundation presents a unique fund-raising event to celebrate love, celebrate life and most importantly celebrate the sheer will to live. The event that takes place on the 21st of February has been organized by Cherish Life India Foundation that was founded in 2013 by Mrs Blanche Saldanha. 100% of the proceeds generated from this event will be utilized for providing medical treatment to children from lower strata of society, who are suffering from Leukaemia, Thalassemia & other blood disorders.

In order to provide the best treatment, they have partnered with the Lokmanya Tilak Medical College and General Hospital, also commonly known as Sion Hospital. The NGO has successfully campaigned for the treatment of over 2000 children through the past 5 years, and your contribution and support for this event will motivate them to continue doing so, with accentuated vigour in the future.

Scheduled to take place on the 21st of February, 2020 at Mahalaxmi Racecourse, the foundation’s annual event will be headlined by “Majesty: A Tribute to Queen”. After stellar performances by Shankar Mahadevan and Shaan in their previous outings, this time the international act is geared to perform renditions of the iconic British band, Queen’s biggest hits. Majesty is one of the UK’s premiere touring Queen tribute bands, and have performed at various international festivals.

The band has been touring for the past decade and are now going to perform their electrifying recreation of Queen’s most memorable live performances for the first time in India. In spite of the fact that the band is the hero of the show on the 21st, one cannot overlook the determination and strive that the children suffering from Leukaemia & Thalassemia exuberate. And therefore, this will be a night to remember, since it celebrates the life of the kids, who are truly entitled to say ‘We are the Champions’ while they experience the ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’ in your company.

Therefore, no matter if you are a Queen’s fan or feel like doing some good and having a great time, this concert is going to satisfy your senses. Tickets for the concert start at Rs. 1000, (VIP and Premium package tickets are also available), a catered event, concert-goers can purchase finger/comfort food on-site, alongside with a fully loaded bar menu. Tickets can be purchased directly from the foundation’s office or through Bookmyshow.com.
